Liam Choo (Exercise Physiologist)
I simply love the way being active makes me feel, and the impact this has on both physical and mental health!
When I found out I could help people get back to moving and being active as a career I couldn’t pass it up.
This lead me to make the move to Canberra in order to study a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation.
Being an Exercise Physiologist (EP) is my passion. I love being able to assist people in returning to a better level of movement and health, getting back to the activities they want to be doing.
Our bodies are strong and are made to move.
Being able to show someone how to move safely and effectively is a powerful tool that I am grateful to have and share with my patients.
During my career I have had experience in prescribing tailored exercise programs and lifestyle change interventions for a wide range of health conditions. I also have a special interest in the rehabilitation of people with persistent pain.
Outside of work, I like to keep active in the gym through strength training and rock climbing. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors and getting back to the coast at Newcastle.
Every day I look forward to helping guide more people on their health journey, assisting them back to doing what they love!
