Dr Tsz Shuen Wong

Canberra Spine Centre Dr Winnie WongDr Winnie Wong graduated from Macquarie University with a Master of Chiropractic. She has also undertaken additional training in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) Gonstead Chiropractic System, and Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis (SEAS). She incorporates different gentle techniques and rehabilitation exercises for patients.

Having worked as a chiropractic assistant while completing her Chiropractic degree, she has gained crucial patient interaction and treatment experience.

Growing up as a teenager with scoliosis and being told she would have to live with back pain for the rest of her life, Winnie refused to take that as her destiny. She spent years looking for a solution to help her back pain, she found her solution in Chiropractic and was inspired to pursue a career in Chiropractic. During her years of studying to be a Chiropractor, she realised there is more to Chiropractic than just fixing back pain.

A bigger picture of the field is to restore spine and nervous system function for better health. Dr. Winnie is passionate and excited to treat and educate her patients to not only treat their presenting problems, but also to improve their overall quality of life. She is committed to helping her patients take charge of their own health through her treatment and advice.

When she is not in the clinic, Dr. Winnie is out getting sun and fresh air, swimming, cycling, jogging and hiking. She believes the best form of regular exercise is one that can be incorporated into daily activities – you may even catch her riding her bicycle to work. She encourages patients to do regular exercise and suggests specific home exercises to help with their treatment progress.

Having grown up in Hong Kong, Dr. Winnie is also fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
